Cork Taxi Co-operative Society Limited was formed in 1971 when taxi men in the city saw the need to provide a radio taxi service for the city. That spirit of innovation has never left us and we have been at the forefront of all major initiatives in the industry ever since.
Cork Taxi Co-op has your safety in mind at all times. All our vehicles have safety screens installed for both you and the drivers protection (we know Covid hasn’t gone away!) All our drivers sanitise their vehicles interior on a regular basis and we have information cards in all cars. All our Taxis take cashless payment.
Cork Taxi Co-op are an ISO9001 company who maintain a modern fleet of vehicles, which include PHEVs, Evs and Hybrids. You can have 100% confidence when travelling with Cork Taxi Co-op knowing that all of our vehicles are thoroughly tested and have our meters sealed through the Irish taxi regulators systems.
All our drivers are fully uniformed with a very good knowledge of Cork City and the most popular touring destinations outside of Cork City. Our booking and dispatch office (located in the business district of the city centre) is fully licensed and also approved by the Taxi Regulators office. All our cars have credit/debit card terminals for safe transactions at no extra cost.
